Ryan, a former senior executive, found his true calling at the Rocking R Guest Ranch. With a passion for cooking and maintaining the property, Ryan is the perfect host to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.
And let’s not forget the next generation – Mya, Alex, and Jesse. These young ranch hands are thrilled to be a part of the ranch life, caring for the animals and enjoying the property’s breathtaking views.

Thanks for the wonderful experience at Rocking R Guest Ranch! We loved the accommodation and attention to details that RRGR hosts provided. Evenings on the porch watching nature's nocturnal activity against the backdrop of Eagle Lake and the Rocky Mountains were truly a highlight. As was the birth of Mavis's calf!!!

Outstanding stay at Rocking R Guest Ranch. From Kara’s welcoming warmth and hospitality, Ryan’s delicious gourmet meals (our beef tenderloin steak was a tender as butter) to their daughter’s delightful baked deserts.
The setting is tranquil with rolling hills, lake view, and horses just outside our cabin. We watched the sunset and stars form the hot tub.
Kara arranged our full day mountain horseback ride with Tyrrell Riding Academy. Top notch, professional Ranch owner Jessica made the experience worthy to say it was one of our best days ever. The horses were relaxed, well cared for, and experienced. The scenery was breathtaking.

Our wedding at Rocking R Guest Ranch was the most amazing day ever. We had to postpone our wedding 3 times before it actually happened on July 9, 2022 but our experience at the Ranch made it well worth the wait. Kara and Ryan went above and beyond to make our day perfect! The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and the customer service is top notch! If you want a rustic, elegant wedding, Rocking R Guest Ranch is the place to book! I would recommend it to anyone asking!

There is no words to describe the incredible experience we had when we stayed there celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary.
Everything is so clean, and neat, and well maintained. Ryan and Kara's hospitality is second to none!

My husband and I decided to elope from Ontario to Alberta. We decided we wanted to do it on a ranch type setting and decided on Rocking R Ranch for a 4 night wedding/vacation.
First of all Kara took care of everything from arranging for our flowers to serving us a delicious meal after our private ceremony.
The cabin we rented was so cozy, beautifully decorated and filled with everything we needed.
Every morning we were spoiled with the best breakfasts and every evening the most amazing sunsets.
Our whole visit was perfect thanks to Kara and Ryan and we are so happy we chose Rocking R for our special day.Christina & Craig
